I recently bought a new car and was in the market for an air freshener and saw Drift and had to try. My car does not fit regular types due to it lacking vents. So, I was completely satisfied with the hook on the sun visor. It really does have a nice unique look to it, and the way it just stays on. It smells amazing even to the point that sometimes when I open my door my passengers can smell it from just the driver’s side. I have not had a problem with the smell or freshener fading away in just one week. I’ve had it for just about a month and its fragrance still lingers. The only issue I ran into was the wood piece was dripping some of the essence oil or liquid onto the carpet. But was easy to clean. I figured that it was from summertime or just it being freshly out the bag. But no worries, I have had no complaint so far and look forward to purchasing more. Hopefully with fall and winter coming I won’t have this issue.TLDR: If I was a product reviewer, I would most definitely keep this in my car.

What a waste for something so pretty looking. I have commented on the Facebook “ads” for this product but figured I should write a review here. This product is visually nice hanging in your car but everything else is a complete let down. I purchased this off the reviews that this was super strong and potent. I am someone that loves to smell an air freshener that hits you in the face when you enter the vehicle if I purchased one. That’s really the whole point right? lol. I have purchased so many brands like Axe, Febreze, Bath and Both, California Scent and so on. I had the Febreze vent clips in my car for 8 months and even after replacing them I could still smell the old ones! I had bath an body in my car for months on end and even after the scene oil dried up you could still smell them. I purchased not 1 but 2 drifts for my Denali (you know because I need that smack in the face). So now I have 2 on my each visor clip. Ladies and Gents!! After 1 week YOU CAN NOT SMELL THEM AT ALL!!!! Out of the package the wood freshener smelled absolutely AMAZING! So I was super excited to have my car drenched in this smell. Even after day 1 and 2 I could hardly smell it but would get a wiff of it every now and then and I was like “yes, that smells amazing”. 1 week later you can’t smell it at all unless you physically put your nose up to the wood brick and smell it. Now when you do that you can absolutely smell the scent so it’s not like the scent actually dries up but it just doesn’t put the scent out into your car like the cheap ones do. If you don’t mind the cost and just want something visually appealing to hang in your car then by all means purchase it and then buy other fresheners to put a scent into your car but don’t rely on this to put any type of scent into your car. Like I said I have 2 in my car currently. One would think 2 would put a lot of scent into your car…NOPE. So this is my honest review…buyer beware. I do hope they find a way to fix this issue because they are super cute in your car.

I like that the fragrance is not overpowering. When it starts to fade, I’ll simply put drops of my favorite essential oil, e.g. cedar or sandalwood on the wood block and continue to use it.The clip is convenient and I love that this product doesn’t use harsh chemicals.

I like the aesthetic of this product and the smell is strong, but I can’t stand the smell. Will try another scent.

I recently tried the Drift Car Air Freshener in the teak scent, and it’s been a mixed experience. The design is sleek and fits nicely in my car, which I appreciate. The wood material adds a nice touch, giving it a more premium feel compared to typical plastic air fresheners. In terms of scent, the teak fragrance is pleasant but not as strong as I expected. It provides a subtle aroma, which is great if you prefer something mild, but I was hoping for a bit more intensity. The freshness does fade after a week or so, and I find myself wanting to refresh it sooner than I anticipated.Overall, it does a decent job, but I wish it lasted longer and had a stronger scent. It’s a nice addition to my car, but I might explore other options next time. If you prefer a more understated scent, this could work well for you!

The smell can be over powering at first, but it does mellow out and lasts for months!

As a mechanic, I get in customers’ cars daily; there’s some where you’d think they let their cats use the car as a litter box, others smell like they just ran a marathon and forgot to wipe beforehand. Well, a few weeks ago I entered a car and to my surprise it was pleasantly refreshing. I searched everywhere for what that wonderful smell was and came across a grey brick attached to the grey sun visor- subtle, nice. A few weeks pass and I still think about it, so I go to order and realize I never saw what scent it actually was. I take my chances and order the teak on a whim as I’ve tried a few teak scents. That was my mistake. It was NOT what I smelled in that car. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a BAD smell. As long as you’re into your car smelling like a suffocating Christmas Tree Shop. I didn’t know noses can go blind with how strong it is, and I inhale brake clean day in and out. In retrospect it was either the Amber or Grove- my mistake. Therefore 3 stars, extreme projection so far on Day 1. -2 for the burning nose and headache… and the PRICE. Grove/Amber will be getting 5 stars. As an American, I just felt obligated to announce my opinion, you’re welcome.EDIT- BE CAREFUL after removing the metal clip 4 days ago, I have a permanent imprint on my sun visor due to the compression on the headliner material. That’s extremely annoying. Minus another star.

My hubby loves these car fresheners. We love the teak smell. It’s not too strong and makes my husbands truck smell good. Just clip it on your visor and enjoy.

Something Smells
This is an ingenious idea and works perfect and carefully tucked away. A hit with me

Not worth the money
For the price it’s not worth it. Its been a week can’t really smell it any more
