Got my first one 2016. Stopped working this morning. Went right from my bed to my laptop and ordered a new one. Four hours later things are back to normal. Love Amazon.

Been watching these advertisements since I was a kid. Bought this because I moved my bed and can’t reach the light switch. The clapper works well! Read instructions for sure! “Clap” pause “Clap” is key! Don’t clap too fast with not enough pause or it won’t work.

I bought this as a gag gift for my husband. We were talking one night about the old commercial. I thought it was hilarious since we use Alexa for bedroom lights, etc. He loved it for a couple of weeks. It doesn’t always respond, but worked as it was intended, as a gag gift.

When this works it’s great. It has that retro chic kinda vibe to it that yeah, you can accomplish with a phone and a smart plug, but it just has that old-school feel and nostalgic throwback to the ads from years ago.Great for Christmas trees and lights. That being said….. lol… it has it’s issues. It works maybe 50% of the time to the point that I’ve almost returned it a couple of times out of frustration but I think it’s too late now. You can’t place this near anything that has a speaker on it and expect it to work whole sound is coming out of the speaker. I guess I just though it was smart enough to tell what was a clap and what was music, but it’s not.Installation is simple and there’s a two-clap outlet and a three-clap outlet on it so you can have two different devices attached with different claps to activate. If you saw the ads and remember the clap they used, well it doesn’t work like that. It probably made for a catchy ad but at least with the device that we got, you need a much longer pause between claps to get it to work so if you’re having trouble getting things to turn on with the clap from the ads try a longer pause and see if that helps.Should be 15 bucks tops. 21 or 22 bucks is a bit much for what this is.

This is a great product idea, we have it at the bottom of the stairs on a lamp where there is no switch in the basement. Makes it much safer to walk halfway down the stairs and clap to click on a lamp. It can be set for 2 or 3 claps. The only thing that may be hard for some is you have to clap rather loud. Other then that I definitely would recommend this.

Easy to setup. Make sure to watch the lights to figure out the right tempo. Fun bedside trick to turn off the lights at night.

My kids love to turn the tree on and off now when they wake up and when they go to bed. Timers are boring, this makes it fun and they get to be responsible

Nice product, easy to install, I use it for two lamps- clap twice for lamp one, and three times for lamp number two: ,you will have to practice which claps are most effective. Sometimes I think turning the lamps off at the switch is easier…nonetheless fun and convenient since it works from approx. two to three feet away

It works!
Works as described! The only very minor thing is you have to practice timing between claps although I quickly.learned.
