Love this holder! It is so well made and holds my sage smudge stick perfectly.

There are a few features on this that I just LOVE! The cut out to let air flow, AMAZING, I can use more of the bundle before I have to crush and put on charcoal. Seems to be nice and wide to catch all the ashes.I’m not sure how much I’ll use the brass insert, but that is a nice addition in my opinion, because that makes this the “one stop shop” burner. I think I can do cones on the top as well, but I’ve not personally TRIED cones yet. I’ll be honest, the brass part is a little fiddly to get in place, but not enough to be a huge hinderance, I just have other stick holders I like a little more already. But if you have zero, this will work well for you. It will hold multiple sticks if you want, as well. Three holes in the middle will hold thicker diameter incense sticks (I once had some that were meant for outdoor use, they lasted HOURS and I bet they would work if I still had them, they were at least 2x thickness of traditional sticks)My favorite part is that the sort of pour spout area, makes a GREAT way to carry it around, reminiscent of the old brass candle stick holders 🙂 I saved the box in case I want to travel with it. I thought it was pretty well packaged. Great addition to my “Wicc-nic” basket, if I go do any public witchy events.it is easy to clean, and if you want to collect the ashes for any reason, the spout makes it easy too.

It does in fact fit most smudging wands well.Even if you do your own it has a pretty good hold. The bottom of the dish is unfinished and a little rough. Not enough to scratch up a table but enough it feels off compared to the rest of it when holding it. I would suggest some felt or something under it anyway so it doesn’t easily find its way into to the ground.Where I am having an issue is lighting it. Yes the small opening is helpful but I’m thinking it may not be enough air flow for the tight clump I have in the picture. I’m not sure what it is but seems to be some version of pine someone gave me. Think it would probably do better with 1-2 more holes like there is on the front just for air flow to the base. I even tried just setting it on top and it really didn’t stay lit much longer. I stuffed it back in so it wouldn’t fall out when I moved it.Cleaning is very easy. Soot mostly wipes off so its not always black.Overall:I do really like it just wish it would stay lit better.

It holds sage grate so it can burn. It will not stand up to the heat of the sage that is burning as you can see in the picture. It is not advisable to place dish on top of anything that can melt or burn. It will concentrate heat under the stick . While it collects ashes well it should not be left unattended while sage is burning in it.

First impressions- It’s made well, it’s pretty and should go with almost all decor. It comes this the little stand to burn incense. It works well to keep the incense upright and the ash falls into the holder.I also tried a cone that was horrible. I don’t know if it was because they were the cones that produce smoke below for the waterfall holders but I didn’t like it at all. It put nasty brown residue on the stand. I knocked it off the stand and it left that same burnt residue on the holder. It smelled burnt. Once it went out I washed and dried the holder and stand. It still had that nasty smell. Today (the next day) I smelled the holder with stand in it and I can smell incense not the nasty burnt smell, so that’s a plus. I will not be using those types on cones in it again.I have not put Palo Santo or Sage in it yet. I have some but they are in a box somewhere.

I have been wanting to learn how to use sage to cleanse my home. I had the sage bundle but no holder. I am very happy that I ordered this product! The holder is a nice weight with a clean, simple design that will work well in various settings and interiors. The price is on par with similar holders I have looked at.I don’t like incense but for those who do, there is a brass holder included that will accommodate multiple sizes.Whether you order this for yourself or as a gift, I think you will be happy with your decision!

Not sure what to expect of something like this but we’ve had this sage bundle for a while – gift from a friend – and didn’t know what to do with it so just kind of left it out on the dresser or windowsill for quite some time. Was browsing Amazon and saw this holder for the sage and thought what a great way to display it and also let the bundle diffuse naturally. Not sure how these are supposed to work but at least it’s pretty and holds the sage upright but with room to breathe. Very happy with this.

It’s fine but it is white and so is becoming discolored as the sage and santo are burning down on it.
